This Privacy Policy explains how WindshieldMatch.com (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. WindshieldMatch.com is owned and operated by Bang AutoGlass LLC, a Florida and Arizona auto-glass company. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

WindshieldMatch.com is a directory and lead-generation marketplace for auto-glass and windshield services. We connect drivers who request quotes with independent third-party auto-glass shops. We are not an auto-glass repair provider for purposes of the matching service, and the quotes and services you receive come from the shops you are matched with. (Note: Bang AutoGlass LLC, our operator, also lists itself as a shop on the directory.)

1. Information We Collect

Information Drivers Provide

When you search for a shop and submit a “get a quote” request, we collect the information you give us, which may include:

• Your name (optional)
• Your phone number and/or email address
• Your vehicle information (such as year, make, and model)
• Your location (such as city or ZIP code) and the type of service you need
• Any notes or details you choose to include with your request

You are not required to provide a name, but you must provide a phone number and/or email address so that matched shops can contact you with quotes.

Information Shops and Businesses Provide

If you are an auto-glass shop or business, we collect information you provide when you claim a listing, edit your listing, create an account, purchase a subscription, or receive leads. This may include your business name, address, phone number, email, website, contact person, service details, and billing information. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (see below); we do not store full card numbers.

Shop Listing Data From Public Sources

Our directory includes listings for thousands of auto-glass shops (approximately 6,257). Much of this listing data is aggregated and compiled from publicly available sources. Businesses may claim, edit, or request removal of their listing at any time by contacting us at support@windshieldmatch.com.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies, including:

• Device and browser information (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers)
• Usage information (such as pages viewed, links clicked, search terms, time on page, scroll depth, and referring/exit pages)
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• Date and time of your visit

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Match drivers with auto-glass shops and share quote requests with those shops
• Facilitate communication between drivers and shops
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services
• Process payments, subscriptions, and per-lead fees from shops
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Send service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications
• Analyze usage and trends with web analytics
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. How We Share Information (Third-Party Sharing)

Sharing Driver Lead Data With Auto-Glass Shops

This is important: when you submit a quote request, we share your contact information and request details with multiple third-party auto-glass shops — typically up to about four (4) shops. Those shops may then contact you directly by phone, text message (SMS), and/or email to provide quotes and follow up. The information we share includes your name (if provided), phone number and/or email address, vehicle information, location, and service details.

The shops you are matched with are independent businesses, and once your information is shared with them, their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices, not this Policy. One of the shops you may be matched with is Bang AutoGlass LLC, which operates this Site. If you do not want your information shared with shops, do not submit a quote request.

Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including:

• Stripe — to process payments, subscriptions, and per-lead fees from shops. Stripe handles payment card data directly; we do not store full card numbers.
• Twilio (or similar) — to facilitate calls and text messaging
• SendGrid (or similar) — to send emails
• Analytics providers — to help us understand how the Site is used
• Hosting, infrastructure, and other operational vendors

Legal and Business Transfers

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process; to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others; to enforce our agreements; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and analyze performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Some features of the Site may not function properly if you disable cookies. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but where required by law we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as described in the California section below.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Driver quote requests are retained for a reasonable period to operate the matching service and for recordkeeping. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Note that once your lead data has been shared with a shop, we cannot retrieve or delete it from that shop’s records.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us personal information, please contact us at support@windshieldmatch.com and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

• Quote requests: If you do not want your information shared with shops, do not submit a quote request.
• Shop contact: You can ask any shop that contacts you to stop. To stop text messages, reply STOP to a message; to stop calls or emails, tell the shop directly.
• Marketing emails from us: You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails.
• Cookies: You can manage cookies through your browser.
• Listing removal: Businesses can claim, edit, or request removal of a directory listing by emailing support@windshieldmatch.com.
• Access or deletion: You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@windshieldmatch.com.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.

Your rights include:

• Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collecting or sharing it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: You may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the CCPA/CPRA, our practice of sharing driver lead information with auto-glass shops so they can contact you, and certain analytics activities, may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. To exercise this right, email us at support@windshieldmatch.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” You may also opt out by enabling a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) in your browser, which we will treat as a request to opt out for that browser or device. Note that opting out of sharing means we will not be able to match you with shops if you submit a quote request.

To exercise any California right, email support@windshieldmatch.com. We will verify your request, generally by confirming information associated with your account or request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proper authorization.

10. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain other states — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others with comprehensive privacy laws — may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information, subject to each state’s law and exceptions. You may also have the right to appeal a decision on your request. To exercise these rights or appeal a decision, email support@windshieldmatch.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.

11. How to Opt Out, Request Listing Removal, or Request Deletion

To opt out of having your information shared, to request removal of a business listing, or to request access to or deletion of your personal information, email support@windshieldmatch.com with a description of your request. Please include enough information for us to locate your record (such as the email address or phone number you used, or the business name and address of a listing).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and post the updated Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
